By mixing the extremely specific Gonstead adjusting technique with the active soft tissue, tendon and muscle modalities of Active Release Technique, Graston, and FACTR-PM, Dr. Dijkstra can treat the most difficult and stubborn of neuromusculoskeletal issues. Then using cutting edge functional rehabilitation techniques, he can teach patients to hold their new and improved posture and to maintain their functional gains. Once again, pain free functional movement is a human right.

You don’t have to be a professional athlete to seek help from a sports medicine professional. We treat people who participate in sports just for fun or want to get better results from their exercise program, patients who suffered injuries and want to regain full function and people who have disabilities and want to increase their mobility and capabilities. Sports Medicine bridges the gap between science and practice in the promotion of exercise and health, and in the scientific assessment, study and understanding of sports performance. Regular features include: sports injury prevention and treatment; exercise for health; and recommendations for training and nutrition.
